Six weeks of action on site in our Christmas run-up

Hi all
Yes back with a another installment in what's going down on K.I.T.G.
Well since last update we have been quite busy with our Korean special on site and all this has fallen inline with the London Korean Film Festival which we have attended on a few occasions in the last ten days.

Reviews up now on site include

War of Arrows on Bluray
The Kick -a Thai / Korean co-production about a family of Taekwondo experts living in Thailand who get involved in a plot to steal national treasures .

Continuing with the Korean theme we will have a review of The Thieves from director Choi Dong-Hun and KPOP comedy ''PAPA'' on site shortly ,all to tie in with our coverage of the Korean Film Festival in London.

The opening Gala film ,The Thieves

Future reviews and features on site include the new Wong Jing film which is the third in the Naked series of films ,yes Naked Soldier is imminent ,it stars Jennifer Tse and Sammo Hung among the players.

Also look out for further Bluray features as we get through another couple of  Europe region Bluray's that offer more kick for your money.

Where also waiting on a couple of Japanese cult movies in the form of 2010's Mutant Girls Squad and 2011 Karate Robo Zarborgar. We just love these wacky flicks ,though there rarely for the faint of heart or those under 18 years of age.

We also look at what the likes of Steven Seagal and Jean Claude Van Damme have been doing of late as we tackle a couple of  recent straight to video releases.

On the games front ,our resident games expert has finalised his  Shenmue overview and it's up on site now. Also in the gaming department his coverage of the Eurogamer Expo is complete , published in three installments across each of the groups sites ,the first part appears on K.I.T.G. with successive installments appearing on Shoot'em in the Head.co.uk and Cosplay Heroes.co.uk  .

This also means he's free to cover some more gaming gems and of course the new Nintendo Wii U launch which happens in a little under three weeks.

Of note the sites Virtua Fighter page is offline now while it under go's a revamp ,will be back in the new year with a new look and brought bang up to date.

Feature wise we will be attending the Hyper Japan Christmas show at the end of November ,so look  out for a feature on the event with photos and video.

Another feature is we take a preview look at the forthcoming Jackie Chan film CZ12 .it's out on the 12-12-2012 in Asian cinemas ,so a DVD and Bluray release will be shortly afterwards. We build up to the launch of the film and show how Jackie really is the Man and still has what it takes to astonish audiences like he did way back in the 80's.

Will u Wii U ?

November 30th  is a date Nintendo fans in Europe  will rejoice as it's then that they will be able to get there hands on the new Wii U console,Coming in two variations ,White and Black , with the Black version having a larger memory storage at 32gb compared to the White's 8gb.
Prices seem to be around £260 for the White and £309 for the Black package .
There's also  Zombie U package  in Black for around £350. But give or take £10.00 either way most Online retailers are giving these prices.
It was the one thing on the  mind of everyone ,and as European Law states that Nintendo could not iterate a selling price leaving it up to retailers to set there own prices.
Coming up to the launch date we will keep you informed and hope to get a hands on experience at the Eurogamer EXPO in London in September.
So will u Wii U?

Copyright :Bottom Up -1997

Just received a Classic Japanese N64 game , 64 Ozumo came out in 1997 ,though it was thought to be mediocre at the time a sequel was released in 1999. Just got to get my head round the Japanese  text and I'll be fine.

Hello and welcome to K.I.T.G. (Kick'em in the Ghoulies) in a bid to get the site out to a larger audience we have devised this blog so other may find out about us and get a snippet of what the official sites all about.

In our first blog we bring you news of our Month of Japan on site which is coming to a close at the end of July . Over the past 4 weeks we have reviewed a few films ,some new ,some old , Still to come is our third in a Head to Head film feature where we look at two classics which share something ,but not always being the same.

This month our Head to Head films are two films based on the life of Kyokushin Karate founder Mas Oyama..The two films in question are the 2004 classic ''Fighter in the Wind '' and the next is the older and probably more authentic to many fans as it not only starred one of his students in the lead (the brilliant Sonny Chiba) but also features a cameo of the man himself, yes it's Karate Bullfighter.

Also this month  saw the coverage of the HYPER JAPAN show in London ,which covered a total of 3 days , K.I.T.G. where there to see how Japanesey it all was.
